Ann Start is co owner and Director of Start Development. As experienced Learning and Development specialist she works with organisations impacting poverty and marginalised people. Ann specializes in management consulting, teaching, training and coaching to help leaders of NGOs and voluntary organizations to achieve sustained and sustainable results. She has worked in Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, United Kingdom, Belgium and Australia.

Ann has recently served on the board of People in Aid, is a member of their Learning and Development network group and is an assessor on the Quality Mark panel.

Christopher Start is the Managing Director of Start Development, Brussels which he founded in 2006 offering Executive Coaching support to senior executives in major corporations across Europe.

Recent clients include senior executives in the Financial Services, Consumer Products and Media industries. In addition he has served as an Executive Fellow with The Conference Board supervising their European Corporate Affairs Councils and was Director of the European Council on Corporate Strategy.

Mr. Start is a Visiting Lecturer on leadership and management at several business schools and is a Member of the International Advisory Board of the Vlerick Management School in Belgium. Previously, he worked at Procter & Gamble for over 25 years.
